  What is it:

Nevi'im and Kesuvim with Metzudos in Hebrew for the Palm Pilot.

Read the instructions below for obtaining your copy via e-mail.

Each Posuk is clearly marked, easily accessible and is immediately followed by Metzudas David and Metzudas Zion.

To see what it looks like on your Palm Pilot, look at the screen sample to your left.

Why do I need it:

Imagine sitting in the train on your way to work and having a copy of Nach with you. When would you find the time at home to learn something like Mishlei or Tehilim or Shmuel? With Mezudos?

Or what if someone is late for an appointment with you. wouldn't it be nice to have something with you that easy to learn for a few minutes?

Imagine what you can accomplish by utilizing all those "spare" moments that usually go to waste?

And all this can be done without "shlepping" along a whole set of Nach.
  Can I try it first?

Yes. You can get a sample copy which contains the first 3 chapters of Shmuel Aleph.

Even though this is a sample, you still need the 3 items we mention above. Don't bother with the sample until you have made these preparations.

Once you have installed these 3 programs, you can Click HERE and install your sample copy.

Try it for a while just to see if you have installed the necessary programs correctly and to determine that you are comfortable reading from a Palm Pilot.
  How do I buy it?

Once you are comfortable with the process we have described, you may purchase the Sefer of your choice by clicking on the list of available Seforim.

You will need to provide use with your:
Name and address.
Credit card details.
The user name you have assigned to your Palm Pilot.

How does it get to me?

You will receive an email from us with your requested material as an attachment.
We process orders every hour (or after Shabbos in New York).
  How do I install it?

When the email arrives, just double click on the attachment. You will see a list of files. Some Seforim have been broken up into 2 or three parts.
This is because not everyone likes to have an
Sefer on their Palm Pilot.

There are a number of reasons you might not want the whole Sefer on your Palm Pilot.

For example, Sefer Tehilim takes up 347k of memory. You may not have enough room on your Palm Pilot for this.
It also takes longer to install large files.

What do I need first?

You need a Palm Pilot first of course. It doesn't need a lot of memory, the most basic model like the new m100 is fine, although you might want to splurge and get a model with more memory. This will allow you to have more Seforim with you.

You need to get "Hebrew Support" from www.penticon.com.This is the program that makes your Palm Pilot display Hebrew characters. They have two models, Hebrew Lite and Hebrew Plus. Any one of these is ok. (The Hebrew Lite costs less)

You need the program that will actually read the material we send you. This type of program is called a "Doc reader". The one that is required for reading our Nach is Tealdoc. It is available free from www.tealpoint.com. There is a charge of $17 for this if you decide to register it.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE OR WANT TEALDOC, PLEASE DON'T ORDER OUR PRODUCTS.

Finally, you need to have Winzip installed on the computer you use to connect to your Palm Pilot.
Winzip is available free from www.winzip.com.
This program is needed because we send the material in a compressed format to save time and memory. Winzip "extracts" the files when needed.
