The Chumash is sent to you as an attachment to an e-mail. The attachment is in the form of a "zipped" file containing either 54 individual Parsha files or 5 chumash files.

Please decide which you would like, you can only choose one.

The files are locked to your exclusive use based on the user name you have assigned to your Palm Pilot.
Your user name can be seen in the upper right corner of the HotSync screen on your Palm Pilot. Like in the picture --->

What is a "zipped file"?

Once you succesfully install the Parsha on you PalmPilot,
tap on "Tealdoc". You will see a list of the Parsha files you have installed. The list looks like this ------->
TealDoc is available from www.tealpoint.com
The Evaluation copy is free and a bit annoying until you register and buy it.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE OR WANT TEALDOC, PLEASE DON'T ORDER THE CHUMASH.

At the bottom right corner of the screen, there is an arrow.

When you tap on the arrow, a menu will appear from which you may choose "Rishon", "Sheini" etc.

If the menu does not have "Sheini","Shlishi" etc. Go to the "preferences" menu in TealDoc and check the box "Scan imbedded bookmarks"

Because of the small size of the PalmPilot screen, we did not put Chumash and Rashi in seperate windows. Instead, each individual Pasuk is followed immediately by the Rashi. There is a BOLD line that seperates each Pasuk from the next Pasuk. Tap anywhere on the bottom half of the display screen to scroll down to the next Pasuk.

If the Pasuk does not look like the picture on the right, go into the "prefferences" menu of Tealdoc and check on the box called "Allow Graphics/Links/Tags"
